Mission site partners

Please note that we are always in the process of developing relationships with other ministry partners and so your group may have the opportunity to serve at ministry sites not listed below. Thank you for your flexibility!

Crisis Assistance Ministries: CAM provides assistance and advocacy for people in financial crisis, helping them move toward self-sufficiency. Christ TREK groups will sort various materials donated to this ministry.

Holy Angels: The mission of Holy Angels is to provide compassionate, dependable care and opporunities for high-quality living to those with intellectual developmental disabilities and delicate medical conditions through physical, social, spiritual, educational, vocational and emotional support. Christ TREK groups will interact with residents of Holy Angels and help the organization maintain a clean facility. www.holyangelsnc.org

Open Arms Ministry: Offering prayer and hot meals seven nights a week. Services are run by teams of volunteers who often provide the food and the program. Christ TREK groups will be leading devotions with the community while enjoying a meal together.

Second Harvest Food Bank: A regional food bank affiliated with a nationwide program. Services 16 counties out of its facility. Christ TREK groups sort salvaged food from grocery stores and other donations. www.secondharvestmetrolina.org.

Webb Street School: A public school in the Gaston County Schools district. Webb Street serves students ages 5-22 with intellectual disabilities. Christ TREK groups will be helping to keep the school's facility clean. www.gaston.k12.nc.us/Domain/59

Victory Farm: An adaptvie horsemanship and therapeutic riding center specializing in equestrian therapies for the special-needs rider. Helps children and adults cope with all types of special challenges including cerebral palsy, stroke patients, riders with injuries (including amputees), our U.S. military wounded warriors and service personnel. Christ TREK groups will help clean the facility as well as interacting with the riders. www.victoryrides.org.
